I pulled my hamstring during track training yesterday.

And I did the most foolish thing after that : to continue running and compete in a race.

I'm also expected to go back to school later ( its a SAT! :[ ), for a games-activities-bonding session with the track team.

So good luck to me. I'm not even done with my video assignment!

1. I see an increase in the number of girls joining.

Now.. Friday the 13th was awesome. (although it rained in the afternoon)

Here's why:

- The lil sis, maid and myself had a dance/club party at home. We just jumped around and danced crazily to songs. It was fun!

- In total, I ate 8 peanutbutter jam breads today! I feel satisfied. (sorry, no pics for this!)

- I impulsively snipped off my hair because my fringe irritates me. The final outcome seems fine.

- And a message i recieved in the evening..

Can't wait to see you tomorrow, darjeeling beatrice!

I feel like running now! I think i'm high on carbohydrates?!

I've always wanted to snap a picture of this cute pair of bedroom slippers, but never gotten the chance to. So 2 nights back, i managed to take them while the lil sis was fast asleep!

Yesterday, we celebrated EASTER with the whole family and relatives over at our house. In the morning, we attended Easter mass and after that, it was shopping then back home to await the arrival of our guests.

Bascially, I spent the rest of my afternoon eating yummy Hot Cross Buns and watching Cable Teevee.

Tsk.

I've been spending waaaayy too much of my time on the television and am starting to neglect my health.
My mum labels me "trash" because i constantly snack on junk food or in her own words, "rubbish".

I'm not bothering because school is going to start and I've got the right to spoil myself since this is gonna be my last week to enjoy! Heh.

A summary of events happened during the past week :

1. Normal daily work routine
2. A brief meet up with the girls on Tues
3. Stuffing myself with food EVERYDAY. (my colleagues even asked, "are you here to work or eat?! every minute say "i wanna buy this, buy that. buy buy buy!")
Tsk. If not for work, i wouldn't even go Chinatown. Of course, i should seize the chance! Also, how can one resist good food when its just a few steps away?
4. I talked to my boss today and told him THIS SAT will be my last day at work and he was fine with it.
5. Got to know my colleagues better. I will miss them after I leave!
6. Been cutting out nice pictures from travel brochures during work.
7. Getting phattier (duh)
8. Checked my class + timetable and not looking forward to school re-opening.

Never in my life, have I felt THIS stuffed before. Today, I experienced one of my worst food expeditions. Ok, first things first. I'd like to wish my madre.. A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We headed down to Suntec's Sizzler for dinner.

I finished everything (you see here in this pic) all by myself (!!!)

I had Swiss Grilled Chicken for my main course. Its GOOOOOD!

My Sis and Mum shared the Spicy Chick & Steak Combo. She's enjoying it!

And my mum decides to demostrate the right way of eating cauliflower :

Choose 1, Dip it into Black Pepper Sauce, then.. try to stuff the whole veg into your mouth!

Well, thats my 3rd serving.

AND.. CHOCOVANILLA ICE CREAM with lots of choc bits & raisins!

Then I decided to hand my mum a card I made.

Her lovely ol' husband and the lovely ol' birthday girl!

Not complete without the biggy brother!

After dinner, we made our way (I was sideways-limping) to Carrefour. We bought batteries, a cute CD rack, and an electronic weighing scale (!!) I've been searching it for AGES.

Then we left for home.

We reached home and got the birthday cake out.

- my current job rocks twice better than my previous one because,
1. I have really friendly colleagues
2. Work is quite slack
3. I have an hr's break and Chinatown is great for shopping and food

- life is good with great family members
- temptation for junk food is getting too hard to resist

Therefore, i'm good yet slightly depressed.

I decided to make brunch today. I TRIED to prepare something similar to the meal we had in Bangkok!

This was what we ate :

Rose Flavoured Ice Cold Rice, with Tapioca balls, Sweet Pork Flosses, Radish, and Chilli Pork Meat!

But because I lacked some ingredients, I took whatever I saw in the kitchen and mixed them altogether, haha.
HERE'S IT!

Doesn't look very appetising!

The meal consists of Grape Flavoured Ice Cold Rice, with Microwaved Potato Wedges, Pork Floss Crackers, No oil scrambled eggs, and Cheesy Corn (in the middle!)

Then I had 2 people to taste my dishes!

The lil one gave me a 7/10 overall. She didn't fancy the idea of having ice cold rice.

So did my maid! But she LOVED the cheesy corn.

Then I went on to prepare my own lunch : Apple with Tomato Chilli Spaghetti!

Mmmmm...!

2 days ago (when i was still overseas), one of my Aunt asked my mum whether I'd be interested in working at her travel agency in CHINATOWN and my mum, who thought i would be very keen, AGREED IMMEDIATELY.

HOWDY EVERYBODY! Right now, I'm home alone in my aunt's house, while she's out busy interviewing helplessly desperado job seekers. (haha, so mean!) But hey! They snatched my best source of entertainment away! grrr. So.. we got back from Bangkok last night and boy, was the whole journey tiring! I had fun though. I especially enjoyed the food and shopping most! Haha, but the service there kinda sucked. Fortunately, their food and shopping makes up for the arrogant bangkok-ians!

Last night, I had a sudden itch to make Konnyaku Jellies. This morning, I decided to wake up early, (9am!!) to accompany my mommie for her "Tuesdays grocery shopping". We headed down to Parkway's Giant and bought my jelly ingredients, and had ronaldmcdonalds for breakkie!

We got home and I immediately got down to making my jellies! Whoopee. While waiting for the jellies to harden, I decided to watch "Dream Girls" on DVD.

I got woken up by a call from this Thai lady (who works for my uncle in Thailand), about an hr ago. She kept asking me to turn on my fax machine because she wanted to send smth over. But she couldn't understand "my fax machine isn't working!" So, I thought after all that explanation, I could get back to sleep BUT NO. I was quite upset because I couldn't get back to the similar dream I had before she called! (I think I was in the midst of an "eating dream") Tsk!

Yesterday, i made 2 new indian friends at work. Funny colleagues they are, one of them kept wanting to come over my house today to collect ang baos? Haha. I'm just gonna bring some pineapple tarts and love letters to work later. You know, i like sharing the wonders of food!

omf i'm dead tired. I woke up at 7 this morning and rushed to school (can you believe it) for my java interview. It was pure luck, the second i opened the door, the lecturer called for my turn. The whole interview though, was quite pointless, haha. He knew i was "smoking" through because my answers contradicted my codes. grrr. But 's ok, at least i managed a pass!

Anyhow, we had a superrr long break before our next lesson. So mich and myself decided to have a "mini photoshoot around school". Haha we acted like some eggcited kiddo tourists photographing whatever we thought was worth taking.

Therefore:

Our most frequent place in school - the toilet! muaha.

How have you guys been? Well, school has not been treating me well. (as usual..) Haven't been having sufficient rest. The past few days/week have been hectic, and this tiredness is taking its toll on me. What a lousy-ish life i'm leading. Its barely 11, and im already feeling so drained and tired. Damn, i hate assignments (to the core) but noooooooo. I remembered saying smth like "I will bravely face all you wicked asses!" So this means even if it takes everything to finish ya'll, (even to the extent of zapping out my brain juice), i will. I don't usually give my all when studies is regarded but this's an exception. I've learnt "never to give up once you've set your mind on completing something". And well, to me THIS IS something.

It has been raining continuously. Our supposedly fan4 meeting turned out to be only huimin&me hanging out. Nonetheless, 'twas still good. Anyway, since when hanging out with my dear min wasn't good?! Haha, we were laughing like crazy idiots while trying to cover ourselves from the damn rain, with my peeeuny umbrella. Hahaha, she is now my momma and i'm her boyf! Yes, whatta weird relationship we have. Anyhow, it was great catching up with my minny pie!

I was drenched from head to toe by the time i reached home. (my umbrella = a leaf) no serious, and i'm too lazy to go bathe. Haha, i just want to lie in bed and snug myself cosily under my blanket.

Whoopeedoo! My mum and sis just got back from HK! And the house is now filled with tonnes and boxes of HK snacks and food. I've got a feeling they actually, purposely brought an empty bag with them just to carry these whole lot of stuff.. haha
But its ok, all's good now. The house is back to its normal state - all messed up and noisy. mmm.. i like it this way!

So last night, i had merely 3 1/2 hrs of sleep. And boy, was i feeling so dead draggy this morning. I think the CRS teacher probably didn't understand a single word i was saying during our presentation today. But whateve, i'm so glad its done.

Anyway, drawing class today was zee best. We (mich gena & myself), were actually dreading it. But it turned out fine, ok maybe a lil more than fine. We were so hyped up over everything and anything, hahaha. Playing and jumping around like kids = crazy = happy.

And now, i feel so drained and tired. I should go get some rest.

But before i do that, i'll go watch some teevee first! Heh.

I had zero drawspiration during drawing class today. So i kept complaning to michelle, how ugly and simple my drawings looked, haha. Why do we have to do cartoon drawings?? Eurgh, or maybe i am just not cut for it.

Anyway, tomorrow we're gonna have this course option briefing for year 2. We have to choose between the Interactive Applications option, or the 3D Animation & Video option. Which should i select?!?!

I only slept for 2 hrs last night, or should i say this morning?
My eyes look like --> -.- right now.
Eurgh, and the past 2 days have been hellish! especially yesterday. Yesterday was a fugged up day, seriously. haha

I PROMISE (because i can't swear), FILMING IS THE TOUGHEST JOB EVER. No kiddin'.
And when I say TOUGH, think : carrying and lugging all the equipments (camera, big bags, tripod, big ass mic, etc) everywhere you go, whether rain or shine. ahhh thank gosh for the 2 guys in our group.

Then, there is the FILMING - directing the casts, noting the right scenes, right shots, right lighting, right composition, right yadayadayada and the list goes on and on. *slaps forehead*

And this isn't all. Here comes the worst part... EDITING. I spent a whole night/morning just adding in audio, transitions, cuts . . . . . .

The deadline is today. I finished the whole filming and editing in just 2 days. This's my first and probably the last time i am ever gonna do this. Craming all this shizz into 2 days is no joke. So last minute!

Oh and because I was so busy and rushed yesterday, I carelessly left my ipod and ear piece in the lab. And boy, was i freaking out! Haha, but thank god it was still there when I went back this morning.

I am deprived of sleep. We had our DVID test today, and as usual, i "smoked" my way through. By 1.20pm, (the test is supposed to end at 1.40 btw), almost everyone had their papers handed in and were already out of class, leaving only gena and myself behind. (she too, was done with her paper.) But thankfully, she stayed behind to wait for me. :] I'm sucha slow poke.

So after lunch, we made our way to the Audio lab to have our audio mixing done. I can't tell you how tired i am right now.

We're going back to school tmr again, to complete our audio assignment and STSB reports. Eurgh, to think for the next 2 days i can actually stay home to rest because of test week.
